A perfect village in a perfect setting

The Village of Riverside was Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the Father of Landscape Architecture, and was one of the first planned communities making it a National Historic Landmark (since 1970).  Riverside is visually stunning, with its expansive green parkways, beautiful architecture, and gas-lit street lanterns.  The Central Business District, located around the Riverside Metra station, has a collection of shops, several cafes, and banks.
